Digital Images

To display an image in the Wiki, you must Upload the file.

  1. BEFORE you upload, reduce the pixel size to a smaller, more viewable size (e.g., 300 x 200, 150 x 100, etc.).
  2. To resize your digital image, you can use XnView, a free multimedia viewer, browser, and converter, if you do not have another image program.
  3. Give your image a meaningful name. Do not include spaces. Acceptable names include the following: myimage.jpg, my-image.jpg, my_image.gif.
  4. Upload your image and then reference it on your article: [[Image:myimage.jpg]].
  5. See MediaWiki's Image Help Documentation for more information.
